Jean Martin has 18 years of teaching experience grades K-12, has sponsored a high school fitness and yoga club, volunteered yoga classes at a foster home for kids and currently teaches yoga in the community at studios, at- risk youth facilities, and various venues serving all age groups, special interests and abilities. She trained under Karin Stephan, a nationally recognized B.K.S. Iyengar instructor for her 200 hour Hatha certification and continued her 500 hour certification in Vinyasa, Ananda Yoga. Jean loves sharing how yoga inspires one’s curiosity and quest for calm, enhances confidence and self-knowledge and most importantly, the joy the practice brings to all her students. She is especially passionate and excited about the life changing experiences students transfer from their mats to their lives.
