PRONOUNS: SHE / HER
Tania is a clinical social worked in Seattle, Washington. She received her Master’s in Social work from the University of Washington focusing on decolonizing research methodologies and community organizing. She has spent time working in the last 2 decades in various settings from community mental health, early intervention for children with developmental disabilities, inpatient and medical social work as well as hospice and palliative care. She also maintains a private practice providing psychotherapy for adolescents and adults utilizing eco/nature & integrative somatic approaches. She is currently in a M.Ed program focusing on Curriculum & Instruction.
Tania’s love of yoga began over 20 years ago, and has been a foundational source of balance and empowerment personally and professionally. She has been a part of Yoga Ed’s Trainer Institute as well as Hala Khouri’s Trauma Informed Yoga trainings and is an experienced registered yoga teacher & educator. She has taught yoga in schools and continues to teach a mindful movement class. Yoga and Mindfulness has been a powerful and playful tool in connecting with communities. She believes that the embodied approaches through Yoga helps further support schools and communities in supporting overall well-being.
Tania enjoys being in nature with her 3 children, cooking and is a forever student.
