Janelle Tamaribuchi
Stay at Home Mom, Founder of Dear Warrior Project
Honolulu, HI
“Having been through trauma in my own life and seeing the benefits of yoga, I wanted to be able to provide that support for our children.”
Hi, my name is Janelle Tamaribuchi. I am a stay at home mom and currently working on becoming a trauma advocate here in Honolulu, Hawaii. I am the founder of Dear Warrior Project, a community where we educate and empower our youth through yoga and art. Yoga and mindfulness to me means bringing self-awareness and learning how to live and be still in the present moment. I completed Yoga Ed.’s Teaching Children’s Yoga Course in 2019 and recently completed the Trauma-Informed Yoga for Youth course in 2020. What I love about Yoga Ed.’s curriculum is that it doesn’t just focus on yoga; it focuses on the whole person and how we can apply yoga to our daily lives. Having been through trauma in my own life and seeing the benefits of yoga, I wanted to be able to provide that support for our children. Yoga Ed. provides tools that parents and educators can use to cultivate an emotionally healthy world. I would highly recommend Yoga Ed. to anyone who is interested in bringing yoga and mindfulness into their lives.
