Yoga Ed. collects information when you access yogaed.com and when you subscribe to our mailing list. In general, we use the information we collect to provide and improve our web services. We may occasionally use the information to notify you about important website changes or new program offerings.

We use online forms to collect information from our web users who choose to identify themselves for purposes of applying to our programs, subscribing to our mailing list, transacting e-commerce, or receiving products or information. For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. This identifier gives users access to course material, bonus features, and customer support. Credit Card Information: At the time you complete a purchase or register for a free trial, you will be required to submit personal information and authorization to complete transactions from various credit services. Program-Related Information: Yoga Ed. may provide trainers and faculty members with names, phone numbers, and email addresses of participants registered for that trainer’s or faculty member’s program. During some programs, trainers and faculty member may gather information directly from participants. Under such circumstances, trainers and faculty are asked to specify the use of collected information and participants are not required to provide any information.

Your Consent: We may share or disclose your non-private information on our website at your direction, such as in your online listing as a Yoga Educator.

Service Providers: Your information may be shared with third-party service providers to provide and improve services to site users. Third parties who receive user information only use your data on our instructions and are prohibited from using information collected from our website for their own purposes.

Media: If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

AdWords Remarketing and Facebook Ads are Remarketing and Behavioral Targeting services provided by Google and Facebook. They connect the activity of Yogaed.com with the Adwords advertising network and the Doubleclick Cookie. You can opt out of cookie tracking here.

EMAIL SUBSCRIPTIONS AND OPTING OUT

Yoga Ed. allows you to add your email address to our online mailing list. If you no longer wish to receive our mail, simply follow the instructions to unsubscribe, located at the bottom of each email.

While no method of online transmission is 100% secure, we take commercially reasonable efforts to protect the security and privacy of personal information you provide us. We adopt appropriate data collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your data stored on our site.

With the purchase of a paid class, your full name, email address, and credit card billing information will be required at the time of purchase. This data is temporarily stored by our payments processing vendor for the purpose of processing payments made to Yoga Ed. and for fraud prevention purposes. That information is safeguarded with appropriate security, and will not be used for other purposes. Our payments processing vendor has agreed to maintain the confidentiality, and security of the personal and financial information it obtains and will never share this data with anyone except Yoga Ed. Our payments processing vendor is bound by all applicable privacy laws relating to the provision of financial services.

MINORS

We strongly believe in protecting children’s privacy. Yogaed.com does not knowingly collect or maintain personal information from persons under 13 years of age (“Child Users”), or permit Child Users to register to register directly for our Properties.
