While we have students nationwide, each school has its own set of rules about licensure and re-certification. Please check with your school to verify acceptance of course credit.

Loyola Marymount University
Graduate Level Professional Development | University Transcript | Department Course Prefix (e.g., HSTX)
LMU is regionally accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) with program-specific accreditation by the California State Commission on Teacher Credentialing and the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP, formerly NCATE).
Courses taken through Loyola Marymount University (LMU) provide graduate-level professional development credits and a university transcript is available within 4-6 weeks of receiving a certificate of completion for the course. Please note there is a fee of approximately $3 to order a transcript.
Professional Development credit may be appropriate for teachers requiring non-degree and/or post-baccalaureate credit which may be used to satisfy professional advancement requirements such as salary movement and recertification credits. A full list of eligible states is available here.

Please note LMU cannot enroll students from Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Georgia, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. Yoga Ed. is a Texas Education Agency Approved Continuing Professional Education Provider. As of September 1, 2022 our trainings qualify towards the 150 CPE hours Texas Educators are required to obtain every 5 years. Please save your certificate of completion for essential documentation.

ASPDP / New York City Department of Education
Professional Development | A+/P-credit
New York teachers, earn A+/P-credits and CTLE hours with our practical online training.
Through our partnership with ASPDP/NYCDOE, we are an approved sponsor of the New York State Education Department’s 100 hours of Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) requirements and pre-approved provider of A+/P-credit courses that can be applied to the BA+30, BA+60, MA+30 and other professional development or CTLE requirements.
Facilitated by expert teachers and instructional coaches, our online course is ASPDP/NYCDOE approved for A+/P-credits and NY State approved for CTLE hours.
Participants must also register and pay an ASPDP fee directly by visiting the ASPDP site to complete the registration. There, participants can either create an account or log on to their existing ASPDP account, and then choose the “Enroll & Pay for Courses” link. Any participant who does not complete this enrollment process on the ASPDP website by the registration close date will not be eligible for A+/P-credits. Yoga Alliance
Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher (RCYT) | Continuing Education Units
Yoga Alliance® is the largest nonprofit association representing the yoga community.
Yoga Ed. is recognized by the Yoga Alliance as a Registered Children’s Yoga School (RCYS).
Our online courses qualify for up to 36 hours of Continuing Education Units with the Yoga Alliance. Learn more about the process to obtain CEU credits by downloading this document.
Yoga Teachers registered with Yoga Alliance as 200 Hour RYTs are qualified to earn a specialty designation of Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher (RCYT) when they complete our RCYT Certificate Program either before, during, or after their 200 Hour training.

ISSA Certification | Continuing Education hours
Yoga Ed.’s 32-contact hour mat yoga courses and 24-contact hour chair yoga courses are approved as Continuing Education hours with the International Sports Science Association (ISSA).
1 contact hour is equal to 1 CEU credit with ISSA.
