Praise for Suzy and Yoga Ed.

Experiencing the Yoga Ed. Professional Institute 1 program has greatly influenced and impacted my k-5th grade physical education and health curriculum. My professional educational philosophy has a foundation in lifelong fitness and I felt it was imperative for me to learn the values of yoga and incorporate them into my lessons. With the backing of my school district, I was able attend the four day course and gain invaluable knowledge.

My instructor, Suzy, was very warm and welcoming, making it easy to be open to these new ideas on education. The course was filled with cooperative learning activities, mindfulness and self-awareness guidance as well as a trip to watch Suzy teach!

I was greatly inspired by this program and it has shed new light on how to connect with my students through yoga. What I found as an educator is the opportunity to use yoga for so much more than just your basic poses and fitness skills. Yoga has given me the opportunity to build a rapport that will last a lifetime.” -Meghan Cereola, Springs School
